The California Emerging Technology Fund (CETF) is recruiting for a Senior Vice President to assist the President and CEO in leading policy development, program implementation, and revenue generation in coordination with the Chief Operating Officer (COO), pursuant to the policies and priorities of the Board of Directors. The Senior Vice President must be experienced in executive leadership, disciplined administration, and outcomes-focused management with the ability to work as a respected and trusted partner with a range of elected officials, public agencies, business groups, and labor leaders, as well engage and support community-based organizations (CBOs) throughout California. The Senior Vice President will be responsible for assisting with drafting proposed policies and legislation, overseeing participation in regulatory proceedings, writing and submitting grant applications and responses to requests for proposals, negotiating contracts, and preparing reimbursement invoices and reports for funders. The Senior Vice President also must be able to represent CETF effectively in public forums with confident speaking skills.
The Senior Vice President will work closely with the President and CEO in coordination with the COO and Board of Directors to chart a strategic course for the future of CETF. It will provide significant professional development opportunities with substantive potential for career growth. Compensation will be competitive structured as Base Salary and Performance Incentive Pay with quality health and retirement benefits along with paid holidays and vacation leave.
