Access Broadband Connect (ABC) Grants
Digital Access Project – ABC
This Access, Broadband, Connect Grant enables Priscilla’s Helping Hands (PHH) to promote access to affordable home Internet in San Bernardino and Riverside Counties to help meet the California Emerging Technology Fund (CETF) overall goal of 500,000 adoptions by 2022. The $54,000 grant awarded in July 2019 is to achieve 450 adoptions. PHH develops community need-based programs for low-income families that promote educational enhancements, responsible parenting, and self-sufficiency. With expertise guiding vulnerable and disenfranchised community members, PHH uses a “hand-holding” personal approach to help families obtain home Internet and the necessary training to use the technology to advance their goals.
