This is a Grant Agreement between the California Emerging Technology Fund (CETF) and California Forward (CAFwd) to collaborate on promoting policies and practices in State Agencies to advance Digital Inclusion. The CAFwd collaboration will build upon the work of CETF to integrate Digital Inclusion into all State policies and programs, including incorporating broadband deployment into transportation corridor planning guidelines adopted by the California Transportation Commission (CTC) and the California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) and encouraging the California Air Resources Board (CARB) to recognize and embrace broadband as a “green strategy” for reducing impacts on the environment and decreasing greenhouse gas emissions. It also aligns with the CAFwd focus on broadband, including identifying it as a priority issue for Elevate CA and convening a forum with Regional Consortia at the 2018 California Economic Summit.
