Access Broadband Connect (ABC) Grants
Digital Access Project – ABC

This Access, Broadband, Connect Grant enabled the National Council of Negro Women (Inland Empire-NCNW) to promote affordable access to home Internet  in the Inland Empire to help meet the California Emerging Technology Fund (CETF) overall goal of 500,000 adoptions by 2022. The $3,000 grant awarded in July 2018 and concluded in June 2020 achieved 25 adoptions and helped participants gain skills in pre-employment work maturity, online job search, resume writing and reading to advance access to social and economic opportunities.


Frontier Partnership Grants
Frontier Digital Access Project

This Grant enabled the participation of the National Council of Negro Women (Inland Empire-NCNW) of the Inland Empire participate in the partnership between California Emerging Technology Fund (CETF) and Frontier Communications, Inc. to increase awareness and adoptions to help meet the CETF program goal of 50,000 adoptions by 2021.  The $3,000 grant awarded in July 2018 and concluded in June 2020 achieved 50 adoptions in the Frontier service area and helped participants gain skills in pre-employment work maturity, online job search, resume writing and reading to advance access to social and economic opportunities.  NCNW, during the grant, managed the computing device distribution after confirming a new Internet subscription.
