Purpose
The purpose of this Request for Letters of Interest is to invite community-based organizations (CBOs) with an established record of performance achieving broadband adoptions among low-income households to declare their interest in participating in the Partnership between Frontier Communications and the California Emerging Technology Fund (CETF) consistent with the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU)between Frontier and CETF (see Summary) .
The mission of the California Emerging Technology Fund is to provide leadership statewide to close the Digital Divide by accelerating the deployment and adoption of broadband and other advanced communications services to underserved communities and populations. CETF is dedicated to making California a global leader in the deployment and adoption of broadband, which includes both wireline and wireless technologies.
