Sunne Wright McPeak Calls Broadband Spending Plan “Huge”

Sunne Wright McPeak, CEO of the California Emerging Technology Fund which had pressed for the $100 billion originally proposed by President Joe Biden, nonetheless hailed the broadband money as “huge.”  “We hope the additional federal funds will be for California and for all states, an incentive to move faster in the partnership between the federal government and states, and we encourage internet service providers to become sincere partners in accelerating broadband deployment,” she said.
